MeetingPoints Mining is happy to help out with seed money for your project. One of the basic requirements for a cooperation project within MeetingPoints Mining is that both countries contribute to the funding.
External funding is of course most welcome. There are a variety of different funding mechanisms that could be used for a MeetingPoints Mining-project. For more detailed information on funding opportunities, please check out the support possibilities listed below.
SWEDISH FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
ALMI BUSINESS PARTNER
Together with SEK, EKN, the Swedish Trade Council and Swedfund, Almi Business Partner is offering an Export loan to small- and medium-scale enterprises to step out on the international market. The Export loan can cover up to 90 percent of its total capital requirements with no upper limit. The loan is given only to Swedish companies with operations in Sweden.

CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS (CSO)
CSO plays a key role in reducing poverty and contributing to democratic development and respect for human rights. Therefore, a large part of the Swedish aid is carried out in cooperation with CSO. Funding support can be sought through the 15 framework organizations which Sida has signed agreements with.

DEMOENVIRONMENT
Since 2007 the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket) has run the DemoEnvironment Program, commissioned by Sida. The program aims to introduce modern, environment-friendly technology solutions in Sida’s partner countries.

The Swedish Export Credits Guarantee Board guarantees that Swedish companies and banks get paid when they export. Guarantees lead to improved financing and provide opportunities to offer purchasers competitive credit.

PLANNING GRANT
The Planning grant offers partners access to financial support in order to kick-start the Partner Driven Cooperation initiative. Basic assumptions are that cooperation is characterized by a common interest and cost sharing between the actors involved. The aid may finance activities but may not cover labour costs for private parties.
