Plenty of projects are materializing as MeetingPoints Mining is kick-starting the second half of 2011.

The Swedish MSc student, ms Carolin Ryr, started up her master´s thesis work together with staff from UU, UNAM – and MeetingPoints Mining. She will be using isotopic data to understand the formation of the Matchless Belt rocks, Namibia.

Some fifty representatives from exploration and mining companies as well as researchers and students gathered in a winter chilly Windhoek, Namibia, to discuss the hot topic of the copper rich zone that outcrops right outside the capital.

The Geoscience Society of Iceland is hosting the 30th Nordic Geological Winter Meeting in Reykjavík in January 2012.
